RSV returns to the Portuguese GT Championship with the aim of getting another win

2010-10-03 - Informaciones

RSV Motorsport is going to take up its competitive activity again in the Aston Martin N24 on the occasion of the Portuguese GT Championship held this weekend in Estoril. Ni Amorim and Ronald Severin face this test with the aim of obtaining both category wins as they did in the first meeting of the championship, held in April in the same circuit.

After bringing the weekend to a satisfactory end in the BMW 3-series during the CER meeting in the circuit called Motorland Aragón, Ronald Severin and Ni Amorim are back to the championship – the Portuguese GT Championship - which is brining them the best results in the current season. This one is going to be their third meeting, and the Andalusian team has already showed brilliant performances in this championship during both previous meetings.

Their experience - gathered from the historic first and second meetings in this championship held in Estoril and Portimao - is Severin-Amorim’s starting point and their objective is to win both tests from the GT4 qualification and, if possible, move up as many positions as they can in the total qualification.

The weekend is organised as follows. On Saturday, free training sessions and a single official training session at 12.10. The first 60 minutes-race, which count towards the championship, is going to take place at 16.05 in the afternoon. On Sunday, the second test at midday is going to bring the meeting to an end.
