RSV Motorsport opens 2010 season in Valencia

RSV opens its 2010 agenda, which is full of appointments, his weekend  in the circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, where the first meeting of the CER (the endurance cup of Spain) is going to be held. Ronald Severin and Ni Amorim are the official drivers of the team again, and Dani Campos is going to be a great help in the long-distance races. Furthermore, the calendar of this season combines occasional participation in the CER, the Spanish GT Championship and the Portuguese GT Championship, apart from the 500km in Alcañiz, which took place in 2009 with great results for RSV.

 

The 2010 calendar of RSV presentes a varied number of comptetitive activities. The Andalusian team is going to start the new season next weekend  in Valencia on the occasion of the first meeting of the CER, where they are going to compete in a BMW E90. At the moment, the management of the motor-racing team is thinking about going to Albacete and Montmeló, although it is still early to confirm the news. It is already confirmed the presence of RSV Motorsport in the Portuguese GT&SP Championship in Estoril and Portimao. Both oficial drivers are going to compete in the Aston Martin N24, which we could see during the National GT. The 500km of Alcañiz are going to put an end of the season again.

 

The drivers roster for this season is leaded by Ronald Severin and Ni Amorim, counting on Dani Campos Hull for help in the long-distance tests. Campos, selected after a recent test in Portimao, has been one of the best single-seater drivers from the last years, having a great success in the Italian F-3 Champiosnhip.

 

The meeting of the CER in Valencia is going to start on Saturday with the private and official training sessions. Both tests are scheduled to be on Sunday – 48 minutes and an extra lap. You can find more information in the championship website  http://www.vlineorg.com.
