RSV almost goes up the podium in Jerez

2010-10-20 - Informaciones

RSV Motorsport remained one step away from the podium in both tests of the Spanish GT Championship held in Jerez. Ronald Severin and Ni Amorim added another two fourth positions.

The high competitiveness was the keynote of the weekend, as many drivers seem to have a chance to get on the podium. However, Ronald Severin and Ni Amorim focused on the development of the car and getting used to the championship again after the Portuguese experience. During the training sessions, Ni Amorim got the 4th position in the GT Light category with the best time - 1'56.223. After that, Ronald Severin took the wheel and he managed to obtain the sixth best time of the category.

In the first test, Ni Amorim had a great first stint, moving up some positions before handing the car over to Ronald Severin, who ended up in the fourth position. Sunday did not make a difference. Ni Amorim ran out of time to be able to gain some positions, and he saw the chequered flag in the fourth position too.

The next meeting for RSV Motorsport is scheduled for the next 12th and 13th of November in the circuit of Montmeló, where another meeting of the CER (Spanish Resistance Cup) is going to take place. After that, on the 11th of December, Ni Amorim and Ronald Severin are getting in the Aston Martin N24 again on the occasion of the 500 km of Alcañiz in the circuit of Motorland Aragón.
